Our adventure begins as we travel south with our first stop at the popular tourist town of Busselton. It’s hard to miss the 19th-century Jetty stretching 1.8km into spectacular Geographe Bay. Here we’ll have a coffee on the waterfront and chat about what exciting things are to come.

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Margaret River township where you’ll have some time to explore the eclectic mix of shops and galleries. We’ll grab a coffee before setting off on a two-hour leisurely canoe along the pristine and calm river Margaret River. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking one of the worlds best surf breaks – Surfers Point.

Back on the road we’ll stop at Hamlin Bay where if you are lucky you will see some huge stingrays.

Next, if you are feeling brave you can climb the 51-metre Diamond Tree, a native karri tree once used as a fire lookout and 1 of only 3 wooden top towers in the world. Then we’ll head into the wilderness of Walpole where we’ll be having dinner and spending the night. About 4 hours of drive time to cover today.
Please note – if the weather isn’t suitable for canoeing in the cooler months, the alternative itinerary is taking a tour of the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse. Located in Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, the views are amazing of the Indian Ocean, Cape Naturaliste, and the beautiful Geographe Bay coastline and perfect for photography or for just soaking in the beauty of the Cape region.

This morning we’ll explore the stunning beauty of the Walpole region and bushwalk through a giant forest of towering Red Tingle trees, many of which are over 400 years old.

From the forest to the ocean as next it’s onto William Bay National Park where you will be amazed by the paradise that is Greens Pool. A magical turquoise beach completely sheltered by massive rocks, it’s the perfect place to have a swim in the warmer months.

Stop At: Torndirrup National Park, Turn Left Just Before End of Salmon Hole Rd, 10 Km South of Albany, Albany, Western Australia 6330 Australia
Then get ready for some epic coastline on our way into Albany. See how years of erosion have crafted incredible rock sculptures and granite bluffs in the Torndirrup National Park. Natural Bridge and The Gap are two of our favourites

We’ll have some lunch in the historical township of Albany before hitting the road back to Perth.
